| About Us |
| RK's Golden Eagles Volleyball Club was first formed in Toronto, Canada in 1988 by Raza Khimji. The team comprised of youth from the Indian East African, now more more involved with their own neighbourhoods, Golden Eagles paved way towards spreading their horizons and looking beyond what was familiar. The youth that were eager to participate in tournaments made their first excellent showing to the World Cup of “Shootingball” in New Delhi, India. After an international start, no one expected that the team would soon be suffering its down-time. The founder of the team, Raza Khimji, suffered a heart attack, due to which participation in tournaments became difficult. Not only was the team captain suffering from physical pain and exertion, but the leadership of the team suffered due to this unfortunate incident. Now over 20 years later the team's chairman and son of its founder, Abbas Khimji, has taken the lead and expanded the team. The team has attended tournaments in New York, Orlando, Allentown, Toronto, and Edmonton and won the championship in Brampton, Ontario, Toronto, Ontario, and New York, United States. We hope to attend tournaments around the world including England, Kenya and Tanzania. The team consists of members as young as 13 and as old as 40. We tone our skills with fierce practices that are well managed and organized. More than that though, RK's Golden Eagles are passionate about the sport and the team. We hope to continue to give the best of competition in all tournaments and spread some awareness of our sport in communities worldwide. - Recent Tournament Finishes - Brampton Tournament Champions!
